After walking around the local Checker auto parts store I decided to buy these shocks from Revain. Glad you did! I saved $50 (I got free shipping) versus the price of an auto parts store (and their crappy website). I've always been a Monroe fan, but haven't thought about swapping out shocks in a few years. Before settling on the Monroe Gas Magnum series, I visited the Monroe website and decided that this series was what I needed for my 1998 F150 4X4. After a few hundred miles of use, I find the ride the shocks provide to be stiff yet comfortable. The truck handles corners and bumpy highways very well. They also take those hidden pothole surprises well. I recommend these dampers to anyone who wants a good truck damper.
