Review on πŸ’» Hagibis USB 3.0 HUB - Case of 50: Super Speed 4 Port USB Hub for MacBook, Surface Pro, and More by Jason Matthews

Revainrating 5 out of 5

just ok Not impressed.

A hub has been found not to provide a good connection even for a wireless keyboard/mouse due to poor connection or power delivery characteristics. Keyboard range is significantly reduced (e.g., from 15 feet to 2 feet) when the wireless keyboard transmitter is connected through a hub, as opposed to when the transmitter is plugged directly into the computer's USB port. Maybe it's a compatibility issue, but it's nothing more than a regular Microsoft wireless keyboard. I've also had sporadic problems recognizing my 64GB SanDisk 3.0 flash when connected through this new hub. Sometimes it's totally reliable, and sometimes there's no reliable connection. So I'm not sure what's going on and I acknowledge that this review is not definitive. The hub might work fine on another computer, but I don't have another to test it with. I hate to rush to give this product a rating of less than 4 stars and of course I hope it has nothing to do with my Dell Inspiron which in itself is a terrible disappointment as 2 out of 3 its USB ports fail less than 2 years. This is the reason I bought this hub in the first place, to provide a few more ports through the last remaining good port on this miserable machine. What I like best about this hub is its 'form factor', its compact size and sturdy looks - it seems well made. Only for the function I can not guarantee at the moment.
