Took to replace my 1080 Ti from Gigabyte. It was very disappointing - the power circuit burned out, I'm trying to revive it. Didn't see much of a difference. Both the old 1080Ti and the new 2080 Super are dragged without any problems. Somewhere the 2080S is faster (mainly in new games), apparently due to the new fast high-frequency memory and the new Turing architecture. Yes, and with firewood, greens have ty support for obsolete cards, and firewood for the new line is being optimized more and more. I do not see the point in 2080 Ti, with a horse price. The performance difference is less than 15 percent on average in 2K. And the price of the 2080S is much lower. If in 4K, then of course there is a significant difference in favor of Tishka. I recommend. In 2K on a 144 Hz monitor, just any game on ultras and in FPS 80+. If with rays, then of course it is smaller, but nevertheless it is also playable. However, I turn them off. If the 1080 Ti hadn’t burned out, I wouldn’t change it to the RTX 2080S in any case. I just don't see the point. Ray technology with normal FPS will most likely be produced by the next 30x generation of cards. Even the 2080 Ti sags heavily in 4K even with beams.
