Review on Pack Of 4 Outwater Aluminum J Channels For 1/16 Inch Mill Finish Aluminum Cap Moulding - 36 Inches In Length by Greg Simms

As a contractor, I have used Outwater's aluminum products for quite some time and have never been disappointed. However, this pack of 4 aluminum J channels for 1/16 inch mill finish aluminum cap moulding failed to meet my expectations. The 36-inch length of these J channels is suitable for most applications, but the product arrived with noticeable scratches and marks. I had to spend time sanding and polishing to get them to an acceptable level. The J channels themselves are well-made and sturdy, and the mill finish aluminum cap moulding snaps on easily. Unfortunately, the biggest downside is the inconsistency in lengths. As someone who needs precise cuts, it's frustrating to find that some of the channels were shorter than 36 inches. Overall, these aluminum J channels are okay, but they are not up to Outwater's usual high standards. The scratches and inconsistent lengths were disappointing, but the product's sturdiness is a plus. I recommend buying these channels only if you have no other options.
