Review on Moog K500087 Ball Joint by Ralph Foster

This is trash. I bought the top and bottom ball joints from Moog for my F550. The bottoms didn't fit, they weren't made properly so I had to go to NAPA to buy another set of their brand. I then attempted to install these upper ball joints and the rubber boot is incredibly difficult to install as you literally have to push down on the flange. When all of this is installed, the boot becomes so tight that the ball joint cannot slip. That is, the rubber is simply twisted, like in my pictures. This will never last, so now I have to break that dam again to buy another set of different ball joints from a different manufacturer. Also, the grease fitting is a vertical fitting for the upper ball joint. You can never grease a vertical fitting, it has to be a 90 degree fitting. But wait, that's not all. The threads for the ball joints were bent and stripped when installing the grease nipple. Absolute rubbish, I will never buy again.
