I have not tried it with a 3D printing pen but have used a Creality printer. Wanted to make a menagerie of items (same items) in different colors and that seemed like a good option to me rather than spending $25 for one color. But that's not the case. PLA, this has nothing to do with the quality filaments I use. Its main disadvantage is mechanical fragility. It may break off when it is inserted into the printer or when it is advanced. So inclined that I couldn't even print more than 20%. Maybe it's just very old and comes with age, but if you're trying to use filament in a 3D printer, try a different product.
