Review on ☕️ Fino Pour Over Coffee Kettle Review: Your Ultimate 4 1/4 Cup Silver Brewer by Daniel Roe

Report after 4 months of use

I've had this for a few months so I have some longer term opinions. I paid full price at Revain. Good: It's quite easy. The handle is at an angle to the steel so fear of burns is very little of an issue. The balance in the hand when pouring slowly is also excellent. There are no build quality issues. Bad: Not noticed yet. There may be problems at some point, but for now there are no signs after a hundred or more uses. After removing it from the stove, it takes me 4 or 5 minutes to pour coffee and wash. During this time the burner cools down. As I am about to leave the kitchen, I put this already empty pot back on the slightly warm stovetop, thinking it might help evaporate what little water is left in the pot and avoid possible rusting. I don't know if that helps, but there's no sign of rust yet. General comments: I do not use the lid. Evaporation losses are very small and negligible. Through repeated testing, I know that 7 seconds of a full stream from my kitchen sink fills it to the desired level of 16 to 17 ounces of water. From time to time I measure the amount of water I use more closely to make sure 7 seconds comes very close. About every 2 months I boil a solution of water, vinegar and baking soda for about 30 minutes to descale and clean the pot, seems to work but it's just a cosmetic issue and in my opinion it shouldn't be left undone. I occasionally run it in the dishwasher. Time to temperature with 16 ounces of water, uncovered, on a standard small stove burner: 175 F reached at 4'00189 F reached 4'30.204 F reached at 5'00. The maximum full boil is reached at 5'20. Those numbers are noticeably slower than a 1500-watt kettle when time is of the essence.
