I don't know why others had problems. Installed on the Pioneer avh-2300nex. Installation was very easy, took 5 minutes to connect but much longer to route the front camera the way I prefer. According to the manual: the red wire is power, the black wire is ground, the blue wire is the reverse gear signal. One video input for the rear view camera, one for the front view, one video input goes to the head unit or TV video input. Ready! Very happy with the result.
