Review on 🔄 BHA Easy Strip Discs: Paint, Rust, and Oxidation Removal - 5 Pack (4-1/2” x 7/8”) by Gregory Flynt

This is my second order. This time I attacked the concrete of the porch, which has been painted several times in the hundred years of the house's existence. I went to strip the paint and found that water jets, paint stripper, and scraping didn't help. So I tried these (I have two left over from recent woodwork) and they work great. They even remove a thin layer of concrete and almost polish it. It's hard work, it took eight blocks of about 40 square feet of concrete with multiple coats of oil and water paint, but they look great now. First time purchase - I have a 100 year old historic home that I am slowly renovating/updating and with various jobs I need to remove a lot of paint from the outside of the brick home. I've tried scraping and sanding with 40 grit sanding discs on an orbital sander to no avail. Today I tried these Black Hawk pads and found them to be at least 50% if not 75% better than 40 grit sandpaper. I am very satisfied. You must be careful when applying paint to the final, original layer. If you're too aggressive at this point, you'll start biting the wood. you just have to be careful. There's nothing that makes removing seven or more coats of oil and latex paint easy or quick, but it makes the job doable.
