Mercedes lower ball joint removal insert with 3/8 to 1/2 adapter fits perfectly. Great heavy duty ball joint press kit for removing front and rear Mercedes W163 ML lower ball joints. A long bridge can help when removing original Mercedes OEM ball joints that were pressed into the steering knuckle. All 4 original pressed Mercedes ball joints can be removed and installed without any problems. 1 star deduction due to damage to the installation adapter 305227 when installing the 3rd ball joint. When installing the 4th ball joint, the inner edge is damaged and does not fit properly on the clamping frame. I need a replacement mounting adapter 305227.
