Review on ✅ DROK 091013 LM2596 DC Buck Voltage Regulator - 36V to 24V, 12V, 5V, 3.3V, 3V Converters, Constant Voltage and Constant Amp Output - 5-36V to 1.25-32V, 5A, 75W by Jimmy Bores

The product arrived well packaged. I supply input 3 with 18.6 VDC at 6 A. Set the output voltage to 12 V, see on-board display. Check the output with a Fluke DMM, the meter shows 12.15V. No problem. I connected the output to a 23" IPS monitor that requires a 12V @ 2A power supply. The monitor turns on and works properly. Check the output voltage again, it stays at 12V, doesn't drop. The circuit board is slightly warmer, but not hot. Reason for the rating with 4 stars. On the output terminal block, there is a screw loose, no thread, can not be tightened to hold the wire. Had to replace the terminal block with a spare terminal and available repair tools from my hobby workbench. In summary, the electronic circuit works flawlessly as expected. But the mechanical parts (especially the poor quality terminal block). The price is great for the product. Installation is easy. A screen print on the board is enough for customization without instructions (except for two pots) I would buy again if more is needed.
