So here's the real deal; Are they prism colors? no However, they are very cute. They are smooth but not oily. They can be blended like Prismacolor. For the price I would prefer these. I was looking for a suitcase and this price with suitcase is fantastic. The price is only slightly higher than a case of this size. For reasons of breakage, my Prismacolors keep breaking when sharpened. They will be kept in the tin in which they were delivered. I use a good quality pencil sharpener. I don't expect them to get worse or better.
