Review on Corair Carbide 678C: Low Noise Tempered Glass ATX Case in Stylish White by Jason Marquez

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Overpriced and a little disappointing.

Really? 6 trays instead of 8? For over $200 they should ship a case with hard drive bays for ALL the available slots. You have 6 trays. There are 2 other empty spaces that support the trays. These compartments are unique to Corsair. They cost about $5 each. I have ordered 2. The cost was $27 including tax and shipping. Ridiculous extra costs. If it wasn't so bulky I would send it back. UPDATE 18.05. Received trays that I shouldn't have ordered. No screws for drives. I know it's no big deal and most of us have a box of these, but for $27 you should be able to get screws. The same tray that comes with the case comes with screws. UPDATE 6/1. Finally got around to fitting a known working power supply into the case. turned it on He continued to ride his bike. Sometimes he stayed for a while. Then a click from the switch area and the top USB panel and that's it. I suspect something smoked up inside. Send back. A new case will be sent under warranty.
