Description of Corair Carbide 678C: Low Noise Tempered Glass ATX Case in Stylish White

Clean lines and smooth steel construction define the 678C's sophisticated style, with a crystal-clear tempered glass side panel to show off your system's components. Includes high-density sound damping material on the side, front and roof panels for quiet operation - or swap in the included dust filter on the roof when performance is your top priority. Choose from a multitude of cooling options with space for 360mm push/pull radiators in the front and roof, 280/240mm radiators on the floor and 140/120mm radiators in the rear. Powerful and efficient airflow, with room to install up to 9x 120mm or 7x 140mm fans for massive cooling potential. Take command of your cooling with a PWM fan controller for two included SP140 PWM fans and up to four more. Reduce fan speed when you want to keep your system quiet, or increase when you want to push its performance.

Good hard drive case and for those who don't need a full size tower

Pros: Supports e-ATX boards despite being an ATX case Can hold up to 8 3.5 hard drives (Corsair includes 6 hard drives only Drive brackets ) 3 2.5 rear hard drive brackets and a top drive bay for DVD drive. Plenty of space to work with cables. Good quality panels and paintwork on the white body. Difficult in this case if you have a 3 slot card like the ftw3 as it only supports 2 slots or if you have a tall card like the Gaming x Trio which can get in the way of the hard drive bays a bit. The…

Well made, lots of space. Not really designed for water cooling

Got it while building a client water circuit for a gaming PC I was building. I love the space inside and the glass side is a real plus and shows my work pretty well. The placement of the USB 3 and power/reset buttons is perfect. Some pretty big problems. First, they provide you with drive bay blanks if you want to close unused ports. However, if you need to make the entire front of the case a cooler, pump, and reservoir, you can remove 6 bays, but you only get 2 covers. The covers on their…

Overpriced and a little disappointing.

Really? 6 trays instead of 8? For over $200 they should ship a case with hard drive bays for ALL the available slots. You have 6 trays. There are 2 other empty spaces that support the trays. These compartments are unique to Corsair. They cost about $5 each. I have ordered 2. The cost was $27 including tax and shipping. Ridiculous extra costs. If it wasn't so bulky I would send it back. UPDATE 18.05. Received trays that I shouldn't have ordered. No screws for drives. I know it's no big deal and…
