Much more in the container than expected! I got 2 for my three canister filters. Just over 1.25 liters. This is a natural stone so there were a few stones that I think didn't look like they were cast in the stone so I decided to throw them away. Just take off the lid. Surprised that their quality control is so weak that many black stones end up in a white product. Since I'm replacing biomedia in an already established tank, I'm doing it 1/4 at a time. So I do another 1/4 every week and a half so that the existing biocarriers aren't destroyed in one giant exchange.
