It really moves A LOT of air for which I am grateful. It met my expectations both in this and in its construction. It is durable and well made. The control knob is in the lower left quadrant, making it easier to control from a window than other fans I've had. I live on a farm and have a lot of fans. The disadvantages for the old woman are as follows: heavy and noisy. The rest is perfect!
