These mounts were a bit pricey but when I received them I felt they were of a quality that justified the extra price. I have used these brackets along with several other sizes from this supplier to reinforce a double rod curtain bracket. After looking for reinforced mounts (other than wood) I couldn't find anything that would fit and had to reinforce what I had. Stainless steel is not easy to shape, but it fits snugly with polished nickel clasps. A 4x6 was mounted on top and a smaller 3x5 bracket was bent and attached to the bottom. They look good and do their job well. No other brace comes even close to the quality of this stainless steel brace. I recommend them for applications such as reinforcing cornices.
