Review on Rough Country 2 Inch Suspension Leveling by Ghostnote Hankins

This is a well made upgrade kit and it does what it's supposed to do. I like the corner piece that allows you to position it on the spring pad. I'm sure a round washer will do, but this one seems a bit more secure. It fitted my long 2007 F350 Crew platform perfectly and has much better stance now, but I'd probably be just as happy with the 1.5" version. Raising the front significantly changes the view over the hood and the truck now feels much larger. Get used to it, but if you regularly maneuver in tight spaces, you'll notice a loss of visibility over the hood. Garbage cans, Miats and small children completely disappear from view. If I have a few complaints it would be that the instructions are not very good. There's no mention of the stock spring retainer being placed on top of the spacer, but it's pretty obvious. It's in the instructions. Anyone with basic mechanical ability can figure it out, but there's some sloppiness with Rough Country. If you need a good guide, just watch the installation video. Make sure you lift the cart high enough to allow the xle to fall far enough. It has to go a long way before the feathers come out. Also note that unless you loosen the tie rod, the axle will shift towards the driver when lowered. My passenger spring got stuck on the bumper on the way back. Raise the axle slowly to keep everything level.
