Worked great for me

I read reviews of these plums. When I first installed them they leaked from the pipe thread side. I asked my father what is the best way to keep them from leaking. (Father, a heavy equipment mechanic, did a lot for most of his life), he said, smearing the pipe's threads with pipe grease and then using yellow duct tape over it. I tried it and let it tune for 48 hours (as a tube of pipe wort recommends for fuels and oils), lit it up and ran almost 4 hours with no leaks. bone dry! These fittings are well made. The covers are a little loose, but not so much that I'd worry about them falling off. The first few times I used them the pistons wouldn't seat fully when pushed apart. So I put the hardware back on my mount a few times and closed it like it should. I chalked it up as new and not properly lubricated/oiled. Only time will tell how they perform as I only have about 6 hours on them.
