I am really excited about this monitor. Packing 4K pixels (3840 x 2160) into a premium 15-inch display results in a remarkably sharp, crisp and vivid picture. There are many similarly sized portable monitors at Revain, but most of them are 1080p and not UHD like this one. As 4K/UHD becomes mainstream, having this display capability is desirable. [Note: There are real technical differences between 4K and UHD, but the two terms have become mixed at the consumer level.] When I first looked at the packaging, I didn't know what to expect. no printing other than the words "Portable Monitor", a graphic and minimal text on the back. To be honest, it immediately reminded me of the repo man scene where Otto eats a can of generic food (which to you hounds of little things is a direct homage to the real generic line used by Ralph's NYC- sold in supermarkets). 80s). The actual monitor turns out to be a very solidly built and well-designed device. There are ports for four connectivity options, a 3.5mm audio jack, a tiny power button, and a scroll wheel for selecting menu items. Contains three different video cables and a wall adapter. The only issue with the build was trying to fold the stand/case up as there was no clear illustration in the instructions. (Although calling it a suitcase is an exaggeration as it is only wrapped around and there is no way to secure the monitor inside for transport.)
