Arrived well packaged with protective covers around them and on the lids to prevent scratches. Read the instructions for gradual heating instructions. I've cooked on it for a week or more and found that the pans heat evenly despite my rickety old stove and the meat browns nice and evenly despite using the stove at a lower heat than before. The pans were still easy to clean and used less oil than before. My old pan set was a mix of different brands, it was the first time I've bought a pan set or used the Nutrichef brand and I'm very happy with it. I let them cool before cleaning as instructed and cleaning is very easy. I also cook on cast iron and when deglazing a pan I've never used cold water in it and on these it's not worth it either, which should protect the coating for a long time. The only thing I regret is that I don't see where to buy pans individually and NOT as a set. I would like to try the square pan which was not included in this set; and take another 10 inch pan.
