Good cooks need good tools, even at the age of seven
We have several grandchildren, but only one grandson really wants to learn to cook. Although I was happy to help him study, his small hands were no match for my knives. I was happy to find this set. They are perfect for his seven year old hands. He feels a lot safer with it than with my big knives. He hopes he can help. My only complaint was with the knife - after a few tries it switched to my knife and had no problems. The peeler included in this set is impractical, not strong enough/hard enough to peel plain potatoes. But the knives are great! He feels like he belongs in the kitchen with me - and that's great!
