It's a fancy piece of plastic; And i love it!
I picked this up because my Roku 3 and cable TV remotes always seem to be scattered. Not only does this holder keep them in place, but they look cool too. For those complaining about the cost of a "piece of plastic," yes it is a piece of plastic. But it's sturdy, looks unique, and doesn't slide on my desk. Not to mention he doesn't scratch it. If you're looking for a remote control holder and want something "custom" in style and shape, get this one. :)
