100 fps gaming excellence

I wanted to upgrade from a 29-inch 75Hz screen to an ultra-wide 34-inch 21:9 screen with a 100Hz refresh rate. Over the past 3 years I've become more interested in PC gaming and wanted something "smarter" to take advantage of my Nvidia GTX 2060 card. I knew I needed a 2560 x 1080 resolution as I would probably be rocking this graphics card for another 2-3 years, and didn't want to tax it by going to a higher resolution than this. It fits for this purpose. I don't see any large pixels beyond what most people would find appropriate for a display of this size. I sit 2 feet from the display. That looks good to me. If you don't enlarge your monitor, they won't be visible. For performance reasons, using 21:9 makes going back to 16:9 more difficult. I can easily work with two applications running on the screen at the same time, while with a 16:9 aspect ratio I need to overlay them or use two screens. This rules out an additional device. Out of the box it was brighter than I would have liked, but I calibrated it in Windows and afterwards it looks fantastic. Navigating the menu system isn't as easy as LG's settings, but I got used to it after a while. Can't comment on the speakers as I'm using headphones and the external speakers are from my previous monitor. Although it's ok for an office. Anyway, I don't think anyone really expects a computer monitor to be a "booming system". It has a small LED projector that you can mount with a Zepter-S logo that you can mount as an option. I figured I'd lose it if I didn't put it in anyway. Although I disabled it. It's like those little lights you can project down when you open a car door. Orderly. For the price I paid it was a very good deal and I would buy it again. Unless you're considering this for gaming, just the extra screen and desktop placement make it a good buy.
