I have a python water changer for my main tank but decided to buy it for my second tank to avoid cross contamination. It definitely has a few downsides compared to reality. The fittings that attach to the sink are plastic, which means the threads wear out fairly quickly. Also, the gravel suction nozzle tends to fall off no matter how tightly I screw it onto the hose, and often when I'm filling the tank the pump leaks. If you're looking for something that saves you bucket hauling and you're on a budget, this will get the job done, but it's made from lower quality materials than Python and is far less durable. If you have money to spare, I suggest choosing the Python brand. If not, it works fine.
