Very easy to fit, raises the rear of the Ranger a bit higher than the old broken OEM shock absorbers and handles loads very well. However, they are not supplied compressed. 1) The shock top bolt is in place. 2) Place a jack under the shock absorber and lift the jack into the bracket. 3) Insert the bottom screw. I'm 5ft 3in, 130lbs and was able to install them myself with no problem. (Monroe regularly discounts mana in October, "shocktober") EDIT: The original Ranger with shocks built in was completely stripped down, but when I bought another Ranger and replaced its shocks, I repurchased those shocks. Good performance, drives like one truck, no problems with either truck.
