Review on Bosch TS1008 Left Support Table by Arnold Robles

I bought this left side support TS1008 for Bosch GTS1041A-09 REAXX table saw which comes with a similar rear support. Pros: * It works exactly as you would expect. - Provides left side support for sawing wider pieces of wood. Just a little wider, not "very wide".* It was easy to install, contrary to what other reviewers have described here. Tip: Tighten by hand and then adjust. Cons: * The rear mount blocks 10" discs from the disc storage on the REAXX table saw. You can still access tools to change blades or reset the cartridge, but you can't store or remove a 10-inch blade. If you installed it with the blade already in the storage area, you will need to remove it to get the blade. I haven't tested it with an 8" saw blade.* This left side stand doesn't have the "nice" closed position on the REAXX table saw. You can see that the bottom notches do not line up with the grooves on the saw. When you close it, one edge of the left foot just bumps against the slanted piece of blue plastic on the side of the saw. Soon he will leave indelible marks on the plastic. Tips: * Read the instructions carefully. * Hand tighten the four screws that attach the legs to the underside of the saw. By "hand tight" I mean "slightly loose" so you can adjust it so it slides smoothly. When you are finished installing the extension, adjust the alignment and then tighten the screws.* Spray-on Teflon dry lubricant ensures the guides move smoothly without dirt or sawdust sticking.
