I bought this based on the reviews and a bit of the hype I saw for its Kickstarter launch. I was expecting an elegant "washer" that would easily hold my LG G2 in my car. It is very well made and comes in a box that looks like an iPod Nano box. But the magnet is weak and doesn't hold my phone securely when the plate is mounted on the phone behind a thin TPU case. I used to buy a Logitech + Drive mount and it holds the phone much better with the neutron plate. It's a bit odd that this thing costs $30. With a bare phone (without a case), the magnet strength is adequate but hardly impressive. Logitech is even better. If only Logitech were less bold (!).
