the hearing aid itself does help with high frequency lose but it's not well taylored for that and they don't explain thje peramaters of the button adjustment at all. Plus customer service is terrible. No phone number is bad enough but not even an email address. and the literature does not give sufficient details to understand features like what the button on the end really does in its three selections. No data, no graphs on the parameters of either the hearing aid itself or the 3 selection button. You're on your own figuring out what changes when you push the button. The idea is to give as little detail about it as possible and expect you will just leave them alone and not bug them. But if you can't afford a good one what are you going to do. You're going to succumb to a bad product made of poor materials and lump it. They make the female attachment of the thin tube out of poor quality soft plastic and expect that when threaded on a brass metal male screw part attached to the hearing aid that is going to hold up when it's obvious that damage to the female plastic part will begin the first time you screw it on. If you try to snug it up it damages the plastic threads. Then because you can't snug it tight it works loose several times a day and when you tighten it again it does more and more damage until it finally strips and will not any longer attach. Mine failed today after about 10 weeks of owning the aid. They only give you one. (you can't rebend the opposite one to use in the other ear) You can't buy just the part you need so you have to by a kit and if you try to stay ahead because you know it will happen again by buying more than one they soak you for a separate shipping charge for each one when you know perfectly well they are taken from the same box in the warehouse and arrive to you in the same box. Tell me how that is different than stealing. Revain no longer has any competition so they can tell you to like it or lump it.
