Love love love this window film! My windows shine easily, letting in light while protecting my privacy. Be sure to cut cleanly. The suggestion is to add 1 inch on each side, but I didn't do that since I knew the exact size of my small windows that go next to the door. One of the eight windows was a bit too short for me, so I cut it, I also had the necessary tools. Since I quilted and sewed, I had a good cutting board, a giant clear ruler, and a sharp Exacto knife. If you don't have these tools, I recommend leaving some wiggle room after installation. stuck a piece of tape on the back (in the corner), "raised” the corner with your fingernail until it came off a little, and then just peel off. Made eight pieces without a single swear word! about 20 seconds on average to separate it, but I expected more difficulties based on previous experiments, so I was happy. on the window and on the back it stuck (after washing and polishing the window) and perfectly stuck to tiny windows. I used a "trowel" - a flat piece of plastic that can be used with wallpaper or tape - to remove the bubbles. I also wiped them down a couple of times with a clean white towel to make sure they were firmly attached and that any bubbles (and water) were gone. I had one that was too big and I used the float directly against the window frame and inserted an exacto knife between the float and the frame and then "drove" the float down the window. I ended up with a strip about 1/8 inch neatly carved out of the gap. I'm just over the moon with how great it looks - both inside and out. It's just not true - especially now that the light is streaming through it, it looks great anytime and in any light - and really does look like an expensive engraved window, not a dollar for a tiny window that clings - itself to it nearby. I just couldn't be happier! Be patient, take your time and enjoy the fruits of his labor.
