I didn't expect the quality to be so high.

The lens took a boo, so the flaws can be individual. The first thing that does not please is misses in AF. But it gave one big plus. I started taking pictures only in manual focus mode. And this turned out to be a turning point. I am 100% sure of him.
Metallic, looks confident, albeit small. Looks tiny on my D700.
The rubber came off after a lot of use. It does not affect the work, but sometimes it causes discomfort.
Loud. Autofocus is as if he will now turn into a robot and go about his business. Screwdriver.
I would not buy for commercial purposes. But for the soul and the study of photography - definitely top.

- Metal case - Accurate and confident focus ring - Interesting and recognizable picture

Cons

- Misses with auto focus - Over time, the rubber focus ring leaves - Sometimes the aperture value block on the lens flies

Got pros: Aperture There is a very beautiful bokeh on the open hole Cons below: Focus, but it is unlikely that you will shoot dynamic scenes with it, and it is not for this. If anyone wants to shoot Formula 1 or footol with such glass, consider version G))

Alternatives in the form of 50 \ 1.8D | G (cheaper and more stable optically) Working pollos, I can not say which is the best. I didn’t appreciate the focal length, I was probably in a hurry. Nikon D700
