For a customer we needed compostable forks. When we first bought these "forks", we received 2 boxes with a useful item. At least for salads, they are suitable - they could not take anything serious. The second batch ordered on the same listing (sold by Amazon, not a third party) are mostly tongue explosives. With the same length, they are very thin and have small, blunt teeth. I don't mind paying 0.05 cents for a "green" fork that actually works, but until they find something decent, I have to prioritize the part of the cent, the plastic kind, that actually gets food off the plate the mouth.
