My blockade lasted less than a year. Such car parts should last at least 10 years without problems
Purchased February 2018, fitted late March as some work is required to fit. In October 2018 the signal switch started shorting and now it's December and the turn signals don't work at all. Therefore, to avoid a fine or cause a serious accident, I have to go to the parts store to get a new one. It's twice the price, but it comes with a lifetime guarantee. I'm not a mechanic so not sure if this is a repairable item but with 2 hours to remove it I might as well replace the whole unit.
