obviously more for CNC machines and heavy equipment but I have used these cheaper digital levels for leveling pool tables. I've always been frustrated with the repetition of most things, and these phone apps are a joke. While there's no harm in making sure it's properly aligned, it's still very important. I level these machines all the time as we move them quite often. Difficult to read due to lack of backlight. Another one I bought was only measured to the nearest tenth. There's no second guessing at this level because you know it's correct (I've checked multiple times). The repetition is always there, just make sure you return to the same spot and hold it with both hands to keep it steady. The display is colorful and very easy to read, you no longer have to shine it to see where the level is! Edit: My biggest complaint about this item is the way the battery compartment inserts. It's plastic and will eventually wear out. and tearing will break the tongue/s. You need a screw type like their cheaper dwl1500xy model.
