I've always wanted one like this since I bought my e46 in 2015. Since then, I have constantly followed the changes made to this company's product. In the end I made up my mind and bought what I don't regret. Installation was straightforward and easy. (If you've hooked up the aux cable to your factory radio, you already know how to do the job.) You don't need instructions (the ones that come with them aren't very good anyway), whatever you do, DON'T forget the decoders, must it can be connected to whatever wiring harness you use. (Comes with 2 harnesses and yes a decoder is included and if you don't connect it your reverse gear won't click the cam and your steering wheel controls won't work.) I also got a rear view camera, engine code reader and dash cam for free so that's it cool! 3 problems I have with this device: 1. sometimes I have to press the screen with a lot of force (I didn't remove the protective film, maybe that's why)2. The edges of the screen are embedded into the top and bottom of the device, so it takes extra effort to squeeze what's there. That's not a bad thing though, and to be honest you only need to do this about 10% of the time you're using the device anyway. Don't let this be the deciding factor.3. With only 2GB of RAM, this device can stutter a bit when running Google Maps and Spotify in split screen. It won't be a problem if you're not late like me. It's almost like it should have just loaded the map, once it loaded it wasn't that slow. Also Google Maps does not update very smoothly on this device? You tend to watch your car jump 100 feet at a time depending on speed, and it takes over 30 seconds to update speed via GPS reading. I don't know if it's a problem with the device or with Google Maps as the device worked fine with Google Maps at the time. Strange. In general an excellent device, I do not regret the purchase. My radio volume never worked so I like using it now. If you press and hold the steering wheel to decrease the volume, the volume decreases or increases in one-second increments. I think this should be changed in 0.25 second increments by holding down the button. If you hold down the button, you do so, so the volume quickly increases or decreases without taking a whole minute to go from 5 to 30. Also for the audio heads there it gets distorted at 27 when everything is flat. I usually pick the maximum of 24 because my factory subwoofers can't handle that. 24 hours is definitely loud enough. This comes from a person who always plays music at maximum volume.
