Didn't dim too well

Dimness was weird. There was actually a very tiny range on the dial that was effective. Outside of that, it was either full-bright or completely off.

Pros

I have used these a dozen times for their simplicity and dependability. No failures and easy operation.

Cons

Could not tell much difference in brightness from one extreme setting to the other.
