Review on 📸 Enhanced Duplex Mobile Scanner: Visioneer RoadWarrior 4D by Scott Chen

PROS: - Easy to set up and use (on my Mac using Image Capture) - Fast scanning (few seconds per page) - Can scan both sides at once - Light weight - Scanning with adjustable Settings for different purposes (from black and white and low res for basic scans to color and high res for photo scanning) - Affordable (about $100 USD) CONS: - It was a bit difficult to access all functions on my Mac use. because the instructions in the user manual are slightly different from the scanning software on my Mac (both for Image Capture and scanner software). For example, I wasn't able to set up a continuous feed to fit multiple pages into a single PDF; Also, there is no option in my software to calibrate the scanner - not a problem now as everything scans fine, but could be a problem in the future - I need to learn how to feed the paper at the right angle to get a straight and complete scan I thought about digitizing our documents for a while and finally gave up when our filing cabinet got to the point where we either had to buy another one or find another solution. I bought this Visioneer scanner to keep my incoming mail organized and accessible without having to keep paper copies. While it's nice that the scanner can also handle higher quality photos and projects, it's an office workhorse for us at the moment and should scan in black and white at a resolution high enough to be read, but a reasonably small one file size. so as not to fill up our external hard drive too quickly. It was very easy to download and install the driver on my Mac (maybe 10 minutes) and after trying the scanner's own software and Image Capture (which the user guide recommends), I found that Image Capture worked for our Purposes led to a result better scan (good quality, small file size). The scanner comes with a transparent carrier sheet that can be used to feed uneven or small pieces of paper or crafts where paper can be glued to paper (such as a transparent pocket that you put the paper in), which is very is useful for children's drawings. I was a bit hesitant to buy this particular model as it seemed like most of the reviews were written by people who got this scanner for free, so I wasn't sure how reliable they were. were, but I'm glad I did and we're very happy with the product.
