A large velcro strap covers the top of the collar
I love the durability, strength and look of this dog collar. Inside is very nice and soft material. Maybe it will help with the comfort on your dog's neck. The collar also has a great grip. I bought this for my Great Pyrenees to wear at home. This is a very large breed that sometimes needs a little nudge to do things like entering a home. So a pen will come in handy. I also bought it for a camouflage look. When I arrived I was disappointed with the huge velcro strap that covers the entire collar. It's not clear why they asked for it. It took away the reason I bought it.
