I love this knit! If you're knitting for a baby, I definitely recommend this book - you'll have some very classic, stylish baby options! I gave 4 stars instead of 5 because I would really appreciate more sizes. I have a niece who is now about 6 months old and I have been knitting for her for 6-12 months now. I would have loved to have knitted for her as a child and most of these patterns are ready by 12 months. But there is one beautiful dress that really seduces me! There is also a lot of context for knitting patterns in this book, such as: B. A historical look at all knitting in the covered decades (1920s - 1950s). First, They typically use finer yarns and tighter stitches than many contemporary designs. While there are a few that use worsted yarns, most of them use thinner finger/sock yarns than you might expect. Nevertheless, the children are small - and these are all very elegant patterns! And I personally think the thinner size works better for people that small. Highly recommended if you have a baby to knit with, but it's probably a good idea to start the project before the baby is born! and that within 12 months!
