The performance is normal, the temperature is also within acceptable limits, but the noise from it is simply unbearable, and can be heard anywhere in the room. Vibration is also felt when touching the system unit. The hum is somewhat reminiscent of the sound of a CD spinning at 24-32x speed. Installing this hard drive through rubber pads improved the situation somewhat, but not to the usual level. In principle, if it is the only disk in the system, this will be enough. It works for me in tandem with the same vibrating friend - Western Digital WD10EZEX (only this one is a little better), and together they give an interesting picture: due to a slight difference in rotation speeds, they gradually enter into resonance within 1-2 minutes, and the hum intensifies, and then during the same time they begin to compensate for each other's vibrations, and after 1-2 minutes there is silence, such a cycle. The test in Victoria 4.3 gave a satisfactory result. The read/write speed is approximately the same across the entire disk.
