Drilling and tapping in one operation. What could be easier? I needed to cut 5/16 holes in 1/2" aluminum. I drilled smaller pilot holes with a drill press to make sure the holes were square, then put the DTAP in a cordless drill. I have a good tapping/ Used thread lubricant and DTAP cut very nice clean easy threads in a very short time Love this tool A bit pricey but worth the money in my opinion I would recommend drilling a pilot hole in something thicker than sheet metal to get the threads out extend the life of the drill.
