Review on Fisch Tenon Plug Cutter Cylindrical by Paul Barnes

I bought this because Lee Valley tools for this size were out of stock in Canada. It was significantly more money, but I needed a cork cutter for a project I had on short notice and couldn't wait until April for Lee Valley tools to go on sale. The purpose I bought this tool for was to reduce the size of the dowel from 5/8" to 1/2" on the ends. was originally very sharp but became dull from about the 20th cut, the last 10 cuts weren't very nice. So far I haven't been able to find anyone who has sharpened this tool with any degree of precision to bring it back to its original sharpness. and I feel like it was a waste of money. I have another project where I need the same tool again, but I will wait until the Lee Valley Tool goes on sale. price for this one cutter live and learn. will not buy any other fish product
