This pressure gauge is a perfect match for our steam boiler! I replaced the horrible and inaccurate gauge with 30psi. This allowed me to set the pressure to exactly 1psi with the boiler running, although the pressure scale is horribly inaccurate. Prescribed pressure gauge for a low-pressure steam boiler. Saved me from installing a $175 vaporstat. == Update 11/18/16 == It was installed for one heating season and has lasted. After some tweaking and installing the vaprostat (yes) the system is now running at 7oz and this gauge matches the vaporostat setting exactly. Exactly. It also looks like its value is up 35% year over year. 0.25psi. The sensor worked fine.
