I've been using this for a few weeks and it's a good kitchen utensil that helps make a firm block of tofu and paneer (milk curd used in Indian cooking) to produce . I hold it for about 12 hours, or preferably all night, and it slowly and gradually squeezes most of the water out of your tofu or paneer, leaving you with a firm block that has incredible flavor and texture. I had a bamboo tofu press for several years, which I really liked. I bought this hoping it would give the same results and it does. This press is ideal for those who prepare tofu dishes. The only thing that confuses me is that it's plastic and not as strong as my bamboo press. On the plus side, the item was well packaged and delivered within the expected time frame.
