A friend recommended this to me because I'm so tired of the plastic lighters that stop working after a while. I like to smoke and it works well even without a flame. It's also not difficult to use (unlike some lighters!). I'll say it only has a few downsides: one of which is that when you actually press the button to light something, it makes a high-pitched squeak, meaning it makes me uncomfortable. Fortunately, it doesn't have to be held down for very long. Another problem is that it is not suitable for lighting my various smudge sticks; You really need a flame. On the other hand, if I can use it to light a candle, and use the candle to light my sage (or whatever), then everything will work out in the end, right? In any case, I'm very glad I bought it.
