I used this tool to service the timing belt and replace the camshaft seals which made removing the cam sprockets/pulleys on my 1998 Toyota requires 4Runner with 3.4 liter engine It worked great with all 3 pulleys (two camshafts and one crankshaft pulley) I was also able to use it to remove the harmonic balancer/crankshaft pulley as I didn't have a puller that I could use don't recommend. It wasn't built for this, but it worked great as a makeshift puller to avoid having to cycle to a parts store to rent a tool and was an added bonus when buying a tool.
