long-term investment.

I work in aircraft maintenance, which means my day-to-day life involves a drill. At home I expect a lot from my instruments. These bits pass the test. As long as you apply slow high pressure to steel and fast high pressure to aluminum, life expectancy is excellent! I bought this set in 2009 and now finally replaced with the same set in 2016. That speaks for itself. Note: If you plan to make a lot of hard steel (stainless steel) or titanium, I would use cobalt bits (not branded material).
