Well, today I received my cutting board, I'm very happy with it! I have applied oil and will apply later when warranted. I measured it and it corresponds to the description as stated. At 16 pounds. It's heavy, I wouldn't recommend dropping it on your foot! I did notice a blemish on the edge but since I will be using this I don't worry it gives it some character. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a cutting board. Updating my review, I've had my cutting board for a few weeks now and I've oiled it and used Boos Cream. It turns out very well. I used it for the first time last week to cook 2 Cornish Chickens. It was great and was quickly removed. I removed the rubber feet on the bottom so I can oil that side as well and use it for slicing and chopping. I smeared with oil and used a cream. This is an AWESOME cutting/workstation board! The third photo is the "underside" after I have lubricated and sealed it. OH! when i apply oil and cream i use my hands, the heat from rubbing helps the board absorb them more easily.
