Very thick and strong. I like the non-slip rubber on the four corners. The only complaint is that it's actually only 19.5, not 20.

Too THICK. For use on a kitchen counter, it is too high for comfortable use. It should be 1 1/2 inches LESS THICK. My height is 5 feet 4 inches.

Numerous damages to this strong wood mix. Completely hacked. The color of the board is much darker than the photo and very ugly. Causes more environmental damage by returning.

As it was a gift I didn't have time to return this item. I had to fill a big gap with glue and sand the surface. For the price of this cutting board I feel this company lacks quality assurance.

My Union Stock Yard Butcher Block arrived with minor shipping damage. I thought about returning it, but the product is out of stock. I'm glad I kept it, it was a pleasure to use. This is a very thirsty board. I smeared it several times a day for a week before daring to use it.

Ordered the first time, came with a hole in the surface carelessly filled. Replacement ordered, side tear. Reordered a second replacement, got a hole in the side. No more patience after 3, just wait and drive to return refund! Very disappointed! Obviously, these shortcomings are related to both production and delivery.

One of the best Revain purchases I've ever made! Beautiful, well made and very durable. The final grain appearance is beautiful. I recommend John Boo's Block Mystery Board Oil and Cream. If you notice that the surface is a bit rough in places, just take a few pieces of sandpaper (I used 320, 400, and 600) and sand it down lightly. It will be perfectly smooth. Well, today I received my cutting board, I'm very happy with it! I have applied oil and will apply later when warranted. I measured it and it corresponds to the description as stated. At 16 pounds. It's heavy, I wouldn't recommend dropping it on your foot! I did notice a blemish on the edge but since I will be using this I don't worry it gives it some character. The workmanship is wonderful. I have half a dozen other bamboo boards and smearing it with oil overnight seemed to be sufficient as all of these bamboo boards failed; that is, they still had a lot of oil on them. I've been oiling this locust board for three days now and it's just starting to show signs of failure. I'll probably soak it overnight again and call it good. I'm on my seventh day and STILL oiling.
