Really nice cable which I ordered for its looks but also ordered another less fancy Toslink to Mini Toslink S/PDIF digital optical audio cable have. Very glad I did. The mini toslink was just found and was solid, but the toslink to the soundbar didn't stay in. Yes I removed the protective film from the Toslink and yes I made sure I connected it properly many times. There would be a noise, and it would sound good, but then the Toslink would drop off immediately. Thinking the soundbar was bad, I plugged in a cheaper cable that I also bought and it connected really well and fairly firmly. So not the soundbar connection, but that Toslink cable was bad. So my recommendation, if possible, is to order the nice and well-tested cable you need, but also the cheaper, less attractive version that's more likely to actually work.
